Stainless Steel 310 Scrap is an industrial material produced from the recycled stainless steel alloy 310, and some of its variation 310S. These belong to the family of austenitic steels and are well-known to have the capability of withstanding high-temperature and corrosive environments besides possessing enhanced strength properties.
The scrap material is obtained randomly from steel manufacturing industries, construction sites and industries where their equipment and structures are made of SS 310 and other related industries. Primary materials consist of scrap metals, pipes and structures arriving from industries like petroleum and petrochemical, chemical and energy industries. Recycling this scrap not only saves the earth’s natural deposits of new stainless steel but it also helps in saving the environment as constructing new manufacturing industries and mining deposits is very expensive to the environment.

Here are the details of the Stainless Steel 310S Scrap Recycling process: The Stainless Steel 310 Scrap is first progressively shredded to separate the micro constituents in it. This is often through sorting, washing and alloying the scrap to form processed stainless steel. The production material also remains advantageous as an alloy and the desired application of stainless steel can be attained in industries that require this metal.
They can be scrapped and recycled for the manufacture of new components like the pipe, fittings, and sheets of stainless steel 310 or incorporated into further manufacturing processes where the properties of stainless steel are desirable. This sustainable method of obtaining stainless steel is beneficial in catering for the increasing need and demand for material that has improved performances although it is serviced through conventional production practices.
At the moment, there cannot be an exact determination of the price for 310/310S stainless steel scrap; however, in the past and to the time of preparation of this report, it was ranging between 300 INR and 450 INR per kilogram. In fact, stock availability, demand rates as well as base product costs are some of the factors commonly associated with constant fluctuations in prices. Regarding our 310 scrap stainless steel price, we continuously evaluate and revise our prices with a view of making it fits into the market for your recycling needs.
